WHAT IS I-APP SERVICE?

I-APP is a service supporting the integration of EO algorithms into the P-PRO infrastructure for enabling bulk or on-demand processing. Given the flexibility of the P-PRO infrastructure, through the I-APP service you can request to integrate any processor, also coming from other platforms such as the ESA Grid Processing on Demand (G-POD).

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING AN APPLICATION INTEGRATED IN P-PRO?

P-PRO is a High Performing Computing Environment for running Earth Observation algorithms on large datasets. Combining cloud computing and distributed systems technologies, the local access to EO data and the ease of custom application integration in the platform, P-PRO optimises the computing power required to execute processing operations, enabling you to receive your processing results in a considerable reduced time.

WHO WILL USE MY APPLICATION ONCE IT IS AVAILABLE IN P-PRO?

You will decide how to use your processing application. Possible options are: (i) you and only you will use the application via EarthConsole^Ⓡ P-PRO On Demand to create and submit processing tasks in autonomy via a user-friendly web interface; (ii) you can request us to perform bulk processing campaigns in EarthConsole^Ⓡ P-PRO (for bulk processing); (iii) you can decide to open the processing service to a selected community of users and allow them both types of usage (On Demand and/or bulk processing).
